Handy Tote

Kitty has designed a great tote bag, perfect for those large dramatic prints that you just can’t bring yourself to cut.  You can’t have too many totes!  The Pattern comes with the class.

Free Motion Quilting

Instructor:  Peggy St. George

Fee:  $45.00

Learn the basics of free motion machine quilting

from this accomplished & experienced machine quilter.  The focus in this class will be hands on practice.  You will learn to control speed & direction of your quilting & have a chance to practice some simple designs as you learn to work with your machine.  Your machine must have a free-motion or darning foot & you must be able to lower or cover the feed dogs.

Machine Appliqué Series

Adult Beginning Sewing

Designed for the adult beginner, in this class you will become familiar with your machine, learn sewing terms, techniques, sew a pillow-case & apron. Lots of fun, no stress, guaranteed!

Beginning Quilting

Instructor:  Lindy Feigenbutz

We’ll start by learning how to use a rotary cutter, mat & other tools; we’ll get comfortable choosing color in fabrics; we’ll make a sampler quilt; & we’ll enjoy new quilting friends.  You must be familiar with your sewing machine & know how to sew on it.

Beyond The Basics

Instructor:  Peggy St. George

Peggy will introduce you to many different quilting patterns.  She will show you how to quilt blocks, back-ground designs & border designs.  During class you will begin quilting a small table topper or wall hanging which will become a library of quilt designs for your future reference.  Come try some of these designs, improve your free motion quilting abilities & have fun in a relaxing learning environment.

Convergence Quilt
